WESP Flue Gas Deep Purifying Device(Wet Electrostatic Precipitator/Demister)


 

New Environmental requirements on fuel gas desulfurization

l  Fire power plant air pollutants emission standard (GB13233-2011) states that powder emission is limited to 30mg/Nm3 with hot areas 20 mg/Nm3, of which Jiangsu has scheduled to 5mg/Nm3.

l  Iron steel sintering pelletizing industry air pollutants emission standard (GB28665-2012) states that powder emission is limited to 50mg/Nm3, with hot areas 40mg/Nm3, of which Shandong has proposed up to 30mg/Nm3, with a schedule of 10mg/Nm3 In 2009.

l  Rolling steel industry air pollutants emission standard (GB28665-2012) states that reheating furnace and heating treatment powder emission limits to 20g/Nm3, with hot areas 15mg/Nm3.

l    Since the new environment protection will be carried out on 1th JAN2015, the limits of environment conservation will be gradually turned up, especially PM2.5 powder treatment.

 

Available Equipment problems of fuel gas treatment:

1 It is hard to get fuel gas less than 50mg/Nm3 of powder density after wet desulfurization purifying. Also it presents as gypsum rain and white smoke. And low temperature fuel gas will be of corrosivity.

2.There is an immense systemic resistance and energy consumption for fabric filter application to make a deep purification of fuel gas, and it is unable to deal with high temperature and high humidity of fuel gas.

 

Advances of WESP deep purification device:

1.  The removal rate of inhalable particles of PM10 or less is more than 90%, ensuring a 20mg/Nm3 or less emission; this is only purifying device for high humility fuel gas to meet the powder emission requirement of 5-20 mg/Nm3 and deal with inhalable particles, and it can really satisfy national environmental standard in later 5-10years.

2.  It is able to remove the most fog drops and aerosol, achieve up to 90% removal of SO3,NH3 and heavy metals like pb and hg, and less than 25% mg/Nm3 fog drops removal. Also it can eliminates the gypsum rain and white smoke and reduce fuel gas corrosivity.

3.  Fuel gas is less than 400pa and hardly increase fans energy consumption; it applies wet fuel gas to scrub water film with zero water consumption, zero gas consumption, without oscillation and secondary flying ash; electric field is optimized and electricity consumption is low. What’s more, it will produce little water that directly flow into desulfurization and be reused, without waste water effluent.

4.   Part of Fuel gas contact ion is fully applied erosion-resistant material, with no action parts and a 20-year or longer life span.

 

Our company designs and supplies for GD YIYANG power with 2 x 300MW unit of desulfurization rear fuel gas deep purification device.

The effect of operating WESP device is shown as right picture, with slight steam.

The device without WESP is as shown on the left, emitting white smoke .

WESP composition and principle:

WESP deep purifying device is an independent device, including shell, discharge system, collection system, insulating case, power supply and flushing system.

The shell is provided with fuel gas in/out ducts, air flow grid and erosion-resistant application.

The collection system is of modular design, distributed as Well type /cellular type and supported by the shell, applying soft fabric materials. Also, the surface could form an even water film.

The discharge system applies alloy barbed wire and is supported and strained through frame by insulating case supporting on the shell.

The flushing system (only used when it stops or breakdowns) contains cathode flushing and anode flushing, applying erosion-resistant alloy pipe network, so that can flush online.

The cathode and anode discharge and charge through high voltage constant DC current power supply with district feed system.
