Reheating furnace process description
Seamless steel pipe is sent to the position in front of furnace, according to scheduled production plan, meanwhile input basic data information of steel pipe into computer system of furnace, which means the furnace process controlling and tracking are done by computer.
After a length measurement of steel pipe waiting for charging on external feeding roller (or input the length by operator) and a confirmation of no strips on feeding roller, open the furnace door and rotate both inner and external feeding roller to send steel pipes into furnace. With the help of optical electrical controlling on roller operating speed and time, make an accurate positioning of inner steel pipe on roller and close the furnace door,
The steel pipe positioned on roller is moved from charge end to discharge end through cyclic motion of walking beam. Steel pipe is sent to discharge roller when need to be discharged, and steel pipe is heated to the given temperature by predetermined process principle. At this point, discharge roller runs and transfers the steel pipe out into next phase, then shut furnace door.
Normally process above is orderly continuously and automatically controlled by PLC, also with semi-automatic and manual performance.
Charge and discharge is equipped with industrial TV to inspect the conditions of inner section and discharge section.
